WxMesg

Added the ability to specify a name associated with a
computer. This name
overrides the default computer name used for data alerts.
Edit the registry key … \Wxmesg\Settings\AlertName.

When WxMesg passes text to the paging processor, it will
remove all carriage returns and line feeds from the message.
Many paging companies will reject pages that contain these
control characters.

Will now process JPG and GIF files.
These can be setup as alarms and sent through the archive or
exe alarm. You alarm
these graphic files by using their EMWIN file name.

This text file contains binary data that was causing the
message client to crash.
WxMesgSetup

Added an option to append text to selected and full email
messages. This can be
done for all groups or one specific group.
To create this text click on the “create e-mail tag”
button. There is an option on the mail email screen and the group
screen.

Added a field to store graphics products.
This directory must be created before WxMesg is started, or
it will report an error.

The program now correctly reads the WxCType.dat file.
This file contains the products that use fips codes.
Prior instructions from me to change this file to add
products did not work. This corrects the setup program to use the items from this
file.

The email setup screen will now allow you to specify the type
of subject line that you want sent.
The options are Full - for the full description, Product –
for the AWIPS identifier, or None – blank subject.

Added a new code for the short pager message.
You can now include the message headlines.
Use $HeadLine$ to include the message headlines in the short
message. Message
headlines are lines that start with … and end with …

authentication, when it is required.

WxPager

The program now supports sending one continuous message over
240 characters in length. The
paging company must support long messages.
If long message are not supported, the page will be rejected.
WxPost
1.
Added the ability to specify additional options for the email
program Blat. Edit the
registry key …\WxMesg\Settings\EmailOptions.
WxRadar
