WxByte
1.
The program will now purge the ingest directory files after 2
days. This will insure
that WxByte will not crash if a third-party program hangs or does
not ingest from the directory.

This makes WxByte agree with the layout of WxIngest.

WxIngest
1.

Added a option to specify the error rate to switch over to a
backup port or WxByte.

The status line reported in IBLog.txt now starts with the
current communications port. The
Percent word has been changed to Error %.

If a backup com port is specified and the system switches to
the backup port because of errors, the program resets the backup
flag, if wxbyte is not running.
This makes the program reevaluate the error rate on the
backup port.

If the program goes into backup mode, it will automatically
display the program window, if it is minimized.

You can now specify the baud rate for the backup com port.

WxMesg
1.
Added support for 100 client connections.
This requires a different license from Weather Message to

The archive message function will now use the original EMWIN
file name, when saving files to a local directory. It will also include the extension “.txt” for text files.

The program no longer unloads the winsock object when a
client disconnects. This
corrects a problem with the program suddenly terminating.

Changed the routine that checks for duplicate messages to not
check the first line in the message.
This makes the program declare the second SWR message
received 15 minutes later as a duplicate, if it is in fact a
duplicate.

Changed the County_Z.dat file to correct a problem with WSW
messages displaying in the Virginia counties of Bedford and Henry.

Added a View Connections option under the File menu.
This window will show the currently connected clients.

WxMesgSetup
1.
Added the state code AK for Alaska.

Added the ability to indicate that a file saved to a local
directory have it’s expiration date appended to the file name.
This will give users the ability to store multiple products
with the same product name. To
activate this feature add “\#” to the archive path name.
Note: The system
will not purge the directory – the user will have this
responsibility.

Increased the email and paging groups from 50 to 150.

The main window title has been changed to Weather Message
Setup.

The E-Mail tag routines will now delete tag files that have a
length of zero.

The E-Mail tag buttons will now show “Create” or

This makes WxMcli agree with the layout of WxMap.

Added an option on the setup menu to specify the map save
time in minutes. Specify
from 1 to 60 minutes.

Clicking on a county will now show the last received product
first.

If this box is checked, the operator will have an option in
the system tray menu to enable or disable the programs popup
operation.

The Text window now remembers its size and position on the
screen.

WxPurge
1.
Now limits the logfile.txt size based on the size set in
WxMesg Server or 50000 bytes. This
change was added because this program is used by WxReTran and
WxMcli.
WxRadar
1. Program will
only check for registration, if WxRetran is installed.
2.
Changed the default time out value to 120 seconds.
If you have problems receiving images, change it to 240
seconds.
